Blackpool and The Fylde College

The support and input provided by Viritopia from concept to completion has been fantastic. The wall installed at our college scheme is a prominent design feature reflecting the environmental ethos of the building. Its location adjacent an airport required extensive input from Viritopia to address concerns relating to bird attraction relating to roosting, nesting and feeding.
The facilities management also required reassurance to the periodic and long term maintenance requirements. Viritopia addressed these concerns through regular face to face discussion, bespoke in depth project documentation and site samples. The walls complex geometry, elevated positioning and use as a primary cladding material required interface co-ordination with a number of contractors during design and site installation. Viritopia contributed to this positivity through the entire process.
The completed scheme has been well received by all parties involved together with the local community. The visual impact final has greatly exceeded expectations and created a prominent building that all associated can be proud of.
